I am an Australian (if you didn't already know), and marijuana (weed) is entirely illegal here. I love to smoke, and think it should be made legal. I watched the documentary 'The Union: The Business Behind Getting High' recently and I think it makes some compelling arguments. Smoking marijuana doesn't harm anyone, no body's ever died from marijuana, and the only crimes associated with marijuana use are because it's illegal.
I haven't watched that documentary, I'll get around to it sometime later.
I'm somewhat torn on this issue.
On one hand I do think it should be legalised, I love it, it is a great way to be able to zone out and think on so many subjects you wouldn't otherwise, it can give you inspiration.
But on the other hand I've noticed that too much of it can lead to alot of problems in life, we've all know a pothead in our lives who have turned to pot and become a totally withdrawn person, sometimes leading towards things like psychosis.
I guess it's much the same with alcohol.
Hmm I really don't know what to type, I was thinking of some points to make but I've had a complete mind blank... should get some sleep
